Booking Policies
What to know about making a reservation
This drop-down menu offers a list of items and services provided by the Salmon River Lodge for your Main Salmon rafting trip. Everything listed is included in the cost of your trip… no surprises here!
How to Reserve Your Spot
A $500 per person deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to the start date of your trip. All payments must be made online with a valid credit or debit card.
The remainder of your trip cost will be invoiced to you via email after your trip deposit is received.
Taxes and Fees
The trip price listed includes all Recreational Enhancement Act Fees and the 6% sales tax for the State of Idaho.
Cancellations and Refunds
If a cancellation is made 90 days prior to the start date of your trip, you may transfer your $500 per-person deposit to a future Main Salmon rafting trip with availability. Salmon River Lodge is unable to offer refunds outside of your $500 trip deposit (please see our note about travel insurance below). Another option is to replace your spot with another person who is qualified for the trip. This can be done free of charge.
Travel Insurance
We strongly advise purchase of travel insurance through the policy provider of your choice. Travel insurance policies can cover your trip deposit, trip cost, evacuation fees, and more. If you need help finding a travel insurance policy provider, please let us know! We would be happy to help you find the right policy for your needs.

“This was literally one of the most amazing weeks of our lives! We spent the week in one of the most natural, wild and beautiful places in the country. We floated, bounced around in some super fun rapids and were treated like VIPs by all of the Salmon River Lodge guides.”
